The search giant Google knows a lot about you, any activity you make can be traced online. Google is destroying the world’s privacy and threatening its security. Amnesty International has warned in a new report that Google poses as a “systemic threat to human rights”, which calls for a radical overhaul of their core activity.
When a user logs in to Google, they build a personal profile on them, using it to keeps track of everything that user search online. Users get free services in exchange for a huge amount of data extracted from them without them knowing that they are constantly tracked through their web usage and through connected devices.
Google location tracks your movement and sends it to Google even when you are not using your phone. The giant tech company collects location history even when Google location is turned off. The collection, processing or sharing of personal data is mainly for marketing purposes hence the constant direction of ads to their users. Google is the parent company of YouTube, which is on a vast majority of the world’s smartphones. This company is a threat to humankind, with an agenda to weaponize private data to manipulate and influence us without our knowledge.
